1. Kobilarna Lipica / Lipica Stud Farm (Street View) - the oldest European stud farm from 1580 continuously breeding one of the oldest cultural horse breeds, lipizzan horses. You can visit Stud Farm Lipica and museum Lipikum. Visit of the Stud Farm is possible in time of opening hours and with guide according to the timetable.
2. Škocjanske jame / Škocjan Caves (Street View) - natural world heritage site on the UNESCO list; sink of the river Reka, underground canyon, caves and collapse dolines, education trail, museum collections.
3. Jama Vilenica / Vilenica Cave (Street View) - the oldest touristic cave in Europe and possibly in the World with documented touristic visits already in 1633. Vilenica International Literary Prize is awarded in the cave. Visit is possible on Sundays and holidays from April 1 to October 31. 
4. Kras / Karst region - well known by its:
   • Karst phenomenom (caves, Živi muzej Krasa / The Karst living museum)
   • Burja / Bora - strong wind,  I hope that we will not experience it ;)
   • Architecture - with typical stony Karst house. Try to visit:
     
     • Štanjel (Google Map) - one of the oldest settlements in the Karst Region, known for its old village centre in terraces and Ferrari Garden; fortified settlement, Karst house museum
     • Lokev (Street View) - settlement with Venecian defence tower (Vojaški muzej Lokev / Military Museum Lokev of WWI and WWII), Fabiani museum shop (a store operated in the Fabiani house from 1869 to 1948), Pršutarna Lokev, many local restaurants
     • Parks and gardens (Pepa-s Karst garden in Dutovlje, Belaj-s homestead in Kačiče-Pared, ...). Botanical garden in Sežana.

     • Kraški pršut / Karst prosciutto and other dry-cured meat products - Pršutarna Lokev (ham-drying facility, degustation and store), Q-Komel in Kobjeglava near Štanjel (degustation, museum - old ham-drying facility, store, restaurant), Pršutarna Ščuka in Kobjeglava (local ham-drying facility, degustation, store, wine and other local products), Pršutarna Grča in Hruševica near Štanjel (local ham-drying facility, store, wine cellar, restaurant), Pršutarna Mevlja in Lokev (local ham-drying facility, store), Kras in Sežana (big meat company and shop of Karst meat products)
     • Kraški teran / Karst terrano - typical wine made from Refosco grapes; possible to try and buy almost at every house in Karst villages (Karst wine road) and in Vinakras Winery of Sežana

     • Osmica - traditional wine pouring and sell of local delicacies in the eight-day period
