CATERING on Sunday

On PreO competition on Sunday we have the opportunity to offer catering for competitors. A provider from Trzin, who offers high-quality meat products, will come if there are enough orders. That is why I prepared its offer on the site. Please mark on site which dish would you like to order. The menu: čevapčiči (minced meat) - 6 EUR, kranjska klobasa (Carniolan sausage) - 5 EUR, mixed grill (čevapčiči, chicken breast fillet and pork neck) - 9 EUR. You will pay for a meal to the provider.

TRAINING on Friday and Saturday

Training will be prepared in Pliskovica on Friday. You will get map, solutions and control card. Please, bring your puncher. Price: 5 EUR.

Training in Pliskovica on Saturday is possible. Unfortunately, we can not left the flags on the terrain for training on Saturday. Anyway, if you want to do the training in Pliskovica on Saturday morning or in the afternoon, you can get the map and solutions. Price: 2 EUR.

After finished TempO competition on Saturday you can do your training also in Lipica. Map of Lipica will be available after the competition in Event Centre. Price: 1 EUR.

Visit of the Vilenica Cave is CANCELED

Visit of the Vilenica Cave will NOT be organized due to little interest.

We are negotiating for catering that could be in the event centre on Sunday in front of the Lokev Fire Brigade. Some food will only be available if there are enough orders as the provider would come from a 100 km distant Trzin. Therefore, expect an offer in the coming days and please order it in advance. If you have any special wishes, you can tell me.

Unfortunately, there will be nothing to sit in the Event Centre on Sunday. Please take care for this by yourself. On Saturday you can sit also in the restaurant of the Maestoso Hotel.

For the Karst region is very well known The Karst Prosciutto Ham (Kraški pršut). It is special because it is dried only on the local wind called bora (burja). The Pršutarna s-krasa before well known as Pršutarna Lokev is the oldest Slovenian prosciutteria or prosciutto ham produce. It is placed in village Lokev, where PreO competition will take place. Unfortunately, it is closed on Sundays and on Saturday it is open only until 13:00. Anyway, you can taste prosciutto in many local restaurants.

On the way to the training in Pliskovica, you will cross many villages where are the vineyards mainly of the refosco variety. The Karst Teran (Kraški teran) wine is produced from refosco in the Karst region between the Gulf of Trieste and the Vipava valley, where the terra rossa soil is rich in silicates and iron. You can taste this wine in all restaurants, but you can buy it from the locals, at the tourist farms, at the wine cellars and in the Vinakras wine shop (check Google Maps for locations and opening hours). The Karst Teran is dry red wine, but those who likes more sweet drinks can taste Teran-s liqueur (Teranov liker).
